Wonderful flat, very well kept and clean. We stayed there during one of the coldest winter UK has ever seen for the last 18yrs and were rewarded with breathtaking scenaries of the Lake and the Park just outside our windows. Ride behind the steam type train in covered carriages. Watch out for Duncan the Dolphin & Persil the Mermaid as well as ducks, swans and fish. Open every day, weather permitting.
Just over half mile from the Quay and a short drive from the property, offers panoramic views of Poole Harbour. The park has a sandy beach with promenade; large grassed area; established gardens; a large Paddling Pool; excellent playground facilities suitable for children up to 12 years ( over 12's play area under construction) ; adjacent free car parking; Bay Cafe (open all year round) tel: 01202 668776. Access to this part of Poole is via the Lifting Bridge - try to avoid the "lift times" !!!!
